Remove the bouquet wrapper as soon as you receive the flowers.
Trim 1–2 inches from the bottom of the stems to help them absorb water better.
Fill a clean vase with fresh water before placing the flowers in it.
Remove any leaves that would fall below the waterline to prevent bacterial growth.
Add two teaspoons of sugar and a little lemon juice to the water to keep the blooms fresh for longer.
Keep the vase away from direct sunlight and any heat sources.
